Hi ya'll! My name is Kelly McHaffie and I am so excited to be part of this amazing blogging community. I started my blog in 2010 and have been loving every second of it! I get to share awesome ideas and learn a TON from incredible bloggers! Here's a little bit about little ol' me!
I was born and raised in a teeny tiny town in north central FL and I am the oldest of two. I have one younger brother, Scott and I love him to pieces! When I graduated from High School, I moved to Tallahassee to begin my college career. I attended Flagler College and graduated with a BA in Early Childhood Education. I couldn’t wait to begin teaching! Two years ago I attained my Master’s in Elementary Reading and Literacy! Taking a break before I head back to get my doctorate!!
I began my career as an educator in a kinder classroom. I taught kindergarten for two years before “graduating” to first grade! I then taught first grade for two years and was granted my wish to move back down to Kindergarten, which is my favorite! Well, I don't know, I do love them both!
I am married to an amazing man, Mark. We just celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary and are parents to two adorable boxer pups, Nelly and Milo! They are so much fun and just as kids do, keep us busy!

I over use exclamation marks and am a snob about coffee and only drink Starbucks. I'm a proud gold card member! :)
